Product Carbon Footprint Analyses
Understanding the greenhouse gas emissions associated with a product throughout its life cycle is essential in today’s environmentally conscious market. A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) analysis measures these emissions, providing insights into the climate impact of a product and identifying opportunities for reduction and innovation.
What is a PCF Analysis?
A PCF analysis calculates the total greenhouse gas emissions generated across different stages of a product’s life cycle.
- Cradle-to-Gate: Covers emissions from raw material extraction through manufacturing, up to the point the product leaves our company.
- Cradle-to-Grave: Includes the entire life cycle, from resource extraction to production, transportation, use, and end-of-life disposal.
It’s important to note that comparing carbon footprints between products can be complex. Even when using the same standards, results may vary due to differences in scope, data quality, and emission factors.
Our Commitment to Transparency
As the world moves toward net-zero CO₂e emissions by 2050, we recognize the growing demand for sustainable products. Our PCF analyses provide clear, reliable data on the carbon footprint of our private label products.
Our calculations follow ISO 14067 standards and use a combination of primary data (from our operations and suppliers) and secondary data (from recognized databases). The process includes:
- Goal and Scope Definition
- Inventory Analysis
- Impact Assessment
- Interpretation (ongoing throughout the process)

Mapping Our Value Chain
To understand the environmental impact of our products, we define system boundaries that include all relevant upstream activities, such as:
- Raw material extraction
- Production processes
- Transportation and warehousing
We then collect data, apply appropriate emission factors, and calculate the total impact. Both primary and secondary data sources are used to ensure accuracy.

Reducing Carbon Footprints
PCF insights help us identify ways to reduce emissions. We offer alternatives such as recycled or renewable raw materials, replacing fossil-based resources while maintaining product quality. These innovations help lower carbon footprints without compromising performance.
By choosing our products, customers can make informed decisions, an essential step toward a more sustainable future.
