At Certex Norway, we use artificial intelligence, often referred to as AI, as a support tool in parts of our digital work. Our goal is to work more efficiently, improve the quality of our content and make information more accessible to customers, partners and visitors to our website.

We use AI in a responsible way. This means that AI may help us with suggestions, translations and drafts, but people at Certex Norway are responsible for the content we publish.

What do we use AI for?

AI-generated images must not be used as a replacement for product images, technical documentation, certificates, inspection reports or other safety-critical information.

If an AI-generated image could be understood as showing an actual situation, a specific product, an installation or documentation, we will make it clear that the image is illustrative.

Privacy and confidentiality

Certex Norway is conscious of what information may be used in AI tools. We must not enter sensitive personal data, confidential customer information, trade secrets or safety-critical information into open AI tools.

When we use AI tools, this must be done in accordance with applicable rules on privacy, information security and internal guidelines.

We want to be open about how we use artificial intelligence. To us, responsible use of AI means combining new technology with human experience, professional expertise and sound judgement.

AI can contribute to more efficient work and better accessibility, but quality, safety and trust must always come first.
