Intelligent Alerts
The RopeWatcher Permanent system uses the magneto-inductive MRT method to inspect your steel wire rope continuously as it runs through the sensor head. It measures both loss of metallic cross-section (LMA) and localised faults (LF), detecting broken wires, corrosion and internal wear that are completely invisible to visual inspection.
The system works as a permanently connected MRT unit, allowing on-demand data acquisition, automatic track saving, and remote file transfer. Without leaving the office, your maintenance team can perform a deep analysis of the rope, download diagrams and build complete inspection reports.
When the data drifts toward a critical threshold, RopeWatcher sends an automatic alert and giving you time to plan a targeted maintenance stop rather than react to an unplanned failure. The alert system is calibrated to your specific rope and application.
