The Seaprotector firefighting suit is designed to protect firefighters from the negative effects of water, flames and heat that occur during firefighting operations. The suit meets the EMSA-recommended Classification Level 2 for resistance to water penetration and is designed to provide reliable thermal and environmental protection during onboard firefighting operations in marine environments.
It has an EC type examination certificate in accordance with the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) 2014/90/EU. It is manufactured in accordance with SOLAS (MED) Protective clothing for firefighters - Performance rules for protective clothing for firefighting.
Features:
- Comfort is ensured by the quilted inner lining
- The outer layer of the suit is made of an anti-static, high-strength fabric with water and oil-repellent properties
- There is a flame-retardant Velcro fastener on the right chest for the name badge
- All sewing threads used for the firefighter suit are made of 100% aramid
- Reflectors are 50 mm thick, yellow-silver-yellow, highly visible, non-flammable
- There are double reflective strips on the jacket, arms and body
- Zips are of high quality, with metal teeth, flame-retardant and panic-resistant
- On the left chest a radio pocket and a hook for a torch
- The trousers are equipped with Velcro fastening, elasticated waist and braces and are ergonomic
- Heat protection suit is supplied with a carrying bag
Material structure (Level II):
- Reflectors: 50 mm thick, yellow-silver-yellow, highly visible, flame-retardant.
- Outer layer: 75 % meta-aramid + 23 % para-aramid + 2 % antistatic fibres.
- Moisture barrier: 100 % aramid non-woven fabric, laminated PU membrane
- Thermal barrier: 100 % aramid non-woven fabric.
