The HA series with Grade 8 is widely used for offshore rigging and container lifting and is the global market leader based on the following:
- Product available in diameters from 16 mm up to 90 mm and working load limits from 4.1 tonnes to 150 tonnes.
- The links are made of triple alloy steel in accordance with EN1677, which includes individually proof loaded to 2.5 times the working load limit and 100% MPI MPF (Manufacturing Proof Force): 2.5 x 9.81 x Working Load Limit (kN) ( min.).
- BF (Break Force): WLL x Safety Factor WLL (Working Load Limit) (tonnes) @ 45° to vertical.
- Average impact energy (charpy) 42 Joule minimum impact resistance at -40°C up to 50 mm diameter.
